getting files ready for installation stuck. You click on the Download and the process begins! Suddenly you see a message on screen i.e. Is 12% significant? Could it be a hardware issue? (my specs should be below) I've left it for an hour and it doesn't progress past 12%. The computer is not frozen at this point - I still have full control of the mouse, and if I eject the DVD setup complains that it's missing.
But, when it comes to the actual installing part, it gets stuck on "Getting files ready for installation (12%)". I go through the setup wizard as normal no errors. I've successfully installed it on my old laptop and a Latitude ST from work, but it won't install on my main PC. I'm trying to install the Windows 8 Preview 圆4.
